Tania Sossi graduated from University of Texas at Brownsville with a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified as a Child Parent Psychotherapist (CPP), trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is a trauma-informed provider.
Tania has extensive clinical experience working in schools, homes, offices and residential facilities. Working with children and adolescents struggling with significant trauma, mental health challenges and school related issues. In addition to her clinical experience, she has significant program development and fundraising background.
Tania spent the past six years with the Griffith Centers for Children Chins Up. She has worked as a Individual and Family Preservation Therapist, Program Supervisor, and now serves as the Director of New Business Development.
By creating opportunities for growth and a brighter future, Tania has assisted individuals of all ages manage and overcome life challenges. She is also devoted to providing skills and support for individuals and their families. These skills help them to regain hope and take steps towards long-term sustainable changes.
