Become A Volunteer!
Our Volunteers are one of our most valuable assets at Griffith Centers for Children, Chins Up. Each year, more than 300 caring individuals donate their time preparing holiday meals, collecting presents, knitting hats and gloves, painting, landscaping, providing leadership to our Peak Challenge teams, and helping out at our annual golf tournament and Griffith’s Kitchen events.
It takes a lot of people to make an event successful and we rely heavily on our volunteers in that regard. Whether it is leading a team up a 14,000’ peak, watching golfers attempt to win a trip to the PGA at the golf tournament, or gathering silent auction items for our culinary event, Griffith’s Kitchen.
The Holidays are difficult for many of the children and families at Griffith Centers for Children Chins Up. Whether they are struggling to keep a roof over their head or their remembrance of holidays past is filled with unhappy memories, Griffith Centers for Children Chins Up relies on their generous volunteers to make the holidays safe and happy for all.
Volunteers can help by providing holiday meals, setting up giving trees, or by helping with holiday decorations. A little bit can go a long way in helping to turn bad memories into good ones.
Griffith Centers for Children Chins Up has 2 main campuses – one in Colorado Springs and one in Denver. To keep the buildings and grounds looking their best we rely on volunteers to help with projects like painting and landscaping.
Support the children and families at Griffith Centers for Children Chins Up by doing a supplies drive. Organize a supply drive at your place of business or with your family and friends. Ideas are bedding, toys, sporting equipment, and toiletries.
