Which Therapeutic Services are Offered?
Individual and Family Therapy: Can be utilized to address mental health and behavioral issues, as well as issues around abuse/neglect, reunification, trauma, etc.
Mental Health Needs Assessment: A pre-treatment assessment used to get an initial picture of the mental health functioning of an individual.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A short-term therapy for trauma, panic attacks, complicated grief, phobias, anxiety anger/violence, addictions, stress reduction, etc.
Psychological Evaluation: A comprehensive conceptualization (including mental health diagnosis) of an individual that answers referral concerns and provides clarity/insight into the client’s psychological functioning, as well as strengths and weaknesses.
Sex Offender Treatment Group: SOMB-approved group for adjudicated and pre-adjudicated juvenile sex offenders. A Healthy Sexuality group is also offered.
Who Should Receive this Service?
Adults and children, spanning all ages and circumstances related to the child welfare system.
What Can I Expect?
- Contact usually occurs in the office, but can take place in the home or community if necessary.
- Pager access 24 hours / 7 days per week
- The Chins Up therapist will work with the family and other professionals as a team.
