Program Volunteer Opportunities
This aspect of the volunteer program provides the volunteer with opportunities to become directly involved with the functioning and direction of the programs that serve our children. Volunteers will be required to participate in committee meetings monthly or less frequently, will be required to have more extensive background checks if their function involves them directly with the residents, and must commit to a determined term of involvement.
  • Spiritual Committee: This committee is comprised of those people who are interested in furthering the spiritual aspect of the lives of those youth our programs serve.
  • Mentors: Volunteers in this aspect of the program donate their time to direct relationship with youth from the center. These volunteers receive extensive additional training related to the needs and dynamics of the Center residents and must make a consistent, ongoing commitment of time to the children.
