For over 80 years the Griffith Centers for Children provides services for emotionally troubled boys between the ages of 10 and 21 in our residential care facilities in Larkspur, Colorado Springs, and Grand Junction. Another 60 children receive foster care through our Colorado Springs Chins Up unit. An additional 250 individuals (infant to 90) receive services through our community outreach Family Preservation programs.
The children that come to the Center are from all ethnic and religious backgrounds struggling in their family, with school or other treatment environments.
Specializing in children with a variety of psychiatric, behavioral, educational and social disabilities, the Griffith Centers for Children is prepared to meet the needs of these children and move them forward into productive healthy homes and adulthood.
Thank you for your interest in our program. Read on for more specific information.
