CHINS UP is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) that seeks financial support from the community, individual donors, corporations, foundations, government grants, United Way and special events.

Here are some ways in which
you can be a part of CHINS UP...

Volunteering

Tutoring Utilize your skills and knowledge by helping to tutor students in our Alternative Education program, or the children in our Family Preservation program.
Special Events Have fun and enjoy yourself at one of our many special events! We have an annual luncheon, a block party, thanksgiving food drive and a holiday toy drive.

Monetary Donations

Consider CHINS UP as the organization for your income tax charitable deductions. Your charitable gifts make an immediate difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. Here are some ideas: gifts of cash, gifts of appreciated securities, real estate, and tributes. You can also remember us in your life insurance policy and/or will.

Gifts-In-Kind Donations

These are donations of material goods. For example, donations of gently used or new furniture, clothing, toys, diapers, bicycles and other items that a struggling family can use.

Foster Care and S.A.F.E. Community Homes

Community homes provide a nurturing and structured environment that encourages emotional, relational, educational and personal growth for the children or families placed in the homes.
